Security & Privacy

We’re trusted with millions of students’ data. We don’t take that lightly.

We’re trusted with the data of millions of students—many of them vulnerable beyond just being young. That trust isn’t optional. It’s a duty of care.

It’s why we hold ourselves to the highest standard when it comes to security. But it’s more than just tech safeguards. It’s about being deliberate and responsible with what we store, what we access, and how we use it. Always.

Personal Security

A key part of our obligation to protect our students is making sure that our personal security is impeccable. Security can’t be outsourced: all it takes is one mistake, and it’s all over.

Be actively suspicious of emails, phone calls and text messages. Scammers have in the past have:

  • Contacted us pretending to be customers.
  • Contacted our customers pretending to be us.
  • Impersonated senior Stile staff.

Expect that these attacks will get even more sophisticated with the use of AI.

Stile has never suffered a data breach: help us keep it that way!

Stile is an equal opportunity employer, and we actively promote a culture of respect, inclusion, and belonging.

As a science education company, Stile understands and appreciates the immense knowledge and understandings held within the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

Stile HQ is located at 136 Exhibition Street, Melbourne, Australia, on the traditional lands of the Boon Wurrung and Woiwurrung (Wurundjeri) peoples of the Kulin Nation. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging.

Stile’s US office is located on the land we now call Portland, Oregon. We recognize and honor the Indigenous peoples on whose ancestral lands we live and work. These include the Willamette Tumwater, Clackamas, Kathlamet, Molalla, Multnomah and Watlala Chinook Peoples and the Tualatin Kalapuya who today are part of the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde, and many other Indigenous communities who made their homes along the Columbia River.
